About the Fund

PARKSMED HEALTH FUND.. Your Health Our Joint Responsibility. Parksmed Health Fund is registered in accordance with Medical Services (Medical Aid Societies) Regulations, 2000 as per Statutory Instrument 330 of 2000. All applications for registration are made to the Secretary of Health and Child Welfare. The registration certificate number is 4 of 2017

Nature of the Fund

The Fund is registered as a restricted medical Fund as per Medical Services (Medical Aid Societies) Regulations, 2000 as per Statutory Instrument 330 of 2000 (“the Statutory Instrument”). The Fund is a body corporate with perpetual succession, capable of suing or being sued, and conducting functions necessary to the performance of the Fund.

Objectives of the Fund

The objective of the Fund is to insure the health of its members, their spouses and dependants through members’ contributions and employers’ contributions. The contributions will be as guided by The Human Resources Policies and Procedures Manual of Zimbabwe Parks & Wildlife Management Authority

Eligibility of the Fund

The Fund is be restricted to permanent members of Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, their spouses, their dependants and pensioners who choose to continue with their contributions
